The Dallas Mavericks ended their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves with a 124-103 victory in Game 5 on Thursday night at Target Center.
The Mavs took control of the game early, leading by double digits for most of the first half. They extended their lead to 20 points in the third quarter and never looked back.
Luka Doncic led the way for the Mavs with 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 8 assists. Spencer Dinwiddie added 21 points, and Jalen Brunson had 18 points.
The Timberwolves were led by Anthony Edwards, who had 27 points. Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 10 rebounds, and D'Angelo Russell had 17 points.
The Mavs will now advance to the Western Conference Finals, where they will face the Phoenix Suns.
